Is the option to switch to Classic or Category View disabled or not available in control panel?
1. Go to Regedit by typing regedit in run
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER> Software> Microsoft> Windows> CurrentVersion> Policies> Explorer
3. Look for an entry that says "ForceClassicControlPanel" and delete it.
There you go... the option to switch will be enabled again!
